I did just this. it work out great, until I got to the part where I select a hard drive/partition to my installation. Their was *NONE* to choose from!! Cant find a solution any where!

I didn't quite get it. Does this motherboard have thunderbolt on board or does it just support thunderbolt expansion cards?

Man my version of rgb fusion program doesn't look like that at all, very few options, a bunch of digital ABC options that all look kinda similar. I was hoping to have it swap between two colors i pick, but that seems like it's not an option. I'm not very tech savvy so if the program doesn't work I'm kinda at a loss

6 years ago... ouch... still, 9900k has not disappointed me all this time. Apparently even 8700k gamers have zero reason to upgrade to upcoming 14th gen, 4000 series cards will have minimal bottlenecking anyway. I'd say only upgrade around 2030 when AI chips start becoming mainstream and possibly quantum enhancers.

SÓ COMPRE SE FOR MUITO 0TÁRI0 O Aorus Engine é uma bost4... se você instala o Aorus Engine e o RGB Fuision ou um ou outro não funciona adequadamente, agora criaram um tal de GCC (Giagabyte Control center) que também que outra porcaria... enfim nada funciona direirto. Se caso você tiver instalado o RGB Fusion e o Aorus Engine... ao iniciar o PC, os leds da placa de vídeo acendem, quando o Aorus Engine inicia, desliga todos os leds, obrigando você abrir o programa RGB Fuision pra só então acender o leds. Busquei informação e achei um relato no Reddit que um cara sugere desisntalar o Aorus Engine... fiz isso e passou a não apagar mais os leds, porem perdi as configurações das fans da GPU. Resumindo uma "bost4".

so if you are encountering the "Failed to add drivers to an Offline Windows Image" error then change the programs install location (copy paste folder), there is a character limit for pathway. For instance, I moved it to just C:/ and ran it from there.

GIgabyte neds way more Windows 7 support in 2023 I'm dmmned and determinedto install Windows 7 on their x670 AORUS Elite AX Gaming motherboard running a Ryzen 7950x. I'd like to see their support page just support WIn7x64 across the board regardless of Microsoft. You could really clean up because there is an ocean of people who can't stand Windows 10/11. Expand your tool to not only inject USB 2.0 support.but also SATA and NVME drivers and I believe AHCI support, and just load out your drivers on the support page for your motherboards with WIndwos 7 drivers or WIndows 10 drivers that work fine under WIndows 7 in a Windows 7 driver download page.

When I did this my windows was sluggish as I never saw it. It was freezing up on its own with me not doing anythign every 30s it was crazy slow idk whats wrong I'm on B460M and I didn't find the tool for my specific board could that be problem ?

Although I understand your procedure, I would prefer to introduce the XHCI driver to an existing Windows 7 boot partition. That is, without going through the W7 installation from an image. Surely, you realize thousands of your Gigabyte customers have a working, data-filled W7 boot partition, and your suggested procedure would isolate the newly-installed partition from that original, working data and associated applications.

After owning this motherboard for three years I can honestly say it is the worst motherboard I've ever have.the USB ports have no inbuilt protection and all have failed slowly over the years. Podgy drivers, poor Ram support. I've had nothing but problems with this board and it's the most expensive board I have purchased. absolute rubbish
